Today, her kids are all grown up but she is still writing books. She likes to visit schools, libraries, bookstores, churches, soup kitchens, just about anywhere she can read books to kids.

She and her wonderful husband have three amazing adult sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a granddog named Bubbles.

Maureen M. Valvassori is the author of eight children's books. After receiving her Master's in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, Chicago, Maureen served as a Youth Minister, Catholic school teacher, Director of Religious Education, Parish Vitality Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Chicago and, most recently, Director of Pastoral Care at Divine Mercy Parish in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
