Blooming Ideas for De-stressing in August
This month, we’re featuring “Contentment” from The Seeds For Living Collection,
to show how we can use it to de-stress.
Choose one of these “five minute escapes” to de-stress when you think about contentment as it leads you to peacefulness and serenity:
- Contentment is when you are satisfied with what you have. The next time you feel stressed; think about what you already have that you should be content about; such as your family, your job, being able to pay the bills on time, enjoying a weekend by yourself or with your family.
- Take a five minute break during a stressful moment to sit back and think about a time when you were truly content. Was it sitting on a porch or patio just looking at your garden or looking at the landscape beyond? Where were you?
- Think about a hobby or pastime that brings you utter joy and contentment. Do you still have that hobby or pastime in your life or have you abandoned it? If you have, why not bring it back? Thinking there is no time? Oh, but there is time. Look at your calendar and select a time to put that hobby or pastime back into your life. For example, it may be going to the library and reading the latest fiction that could bring you contentment. It does not have to cost you any money to find it.
